About ASCII Art

ASCII art is a graphic design technique that creates images using characters from the ASCII character set. Each character has a different visual density, so by mapping pixel brightness to characters, a recognizable image emerges from pure text.

Tips

• Width: Higher values produce more detail but require a wider screen or smaller font to display.
• Charset: "Detailed" uses more characters for smoother gradients. "Blocks" uses Unicode block characters for a different style. "Simple" uses just a few characters for a bold look.
• Invert: Toggle if your image looks better with reversed brightness (useful for dark images).
• Background & Color: Pick a background (dark/light) and text color (white, green, red, blue, yellow). Switching backgrounds auto-adjusts the color for readability.
